Altrichter Joins KAG as VP of Fleet Services

NORTH CANTON, OH, July 20, 2016 – The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) today announced that Kirk Altrichter has joined the company as Vice President of Fleet Services. KAG is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering fuel, chemicals, merchant gases and food products across the United States, Canada and into Mexico.

In his new role, Altrichter will be responsible for the strategic oversight and alignment of KAG’s fleet services to include approximately 6,200 power units and 9,700 trailers. He is also responsible for equipment and parts procurement, building and property acquisition, and general and environmental maintenance.

Prior to joining KAG, Altrichter held senior management roles with various transportation companies to include Gordon Trucking, Inc., Schneider National Carriers and most recently, Vice President of Maintenance for Crete Carrier Corporation. He has been in the trucking industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience in fleet services, operations and logistics.

Altrichter is a member of numerous industry affiliations to include American Trucking Associations (ATA), where he is past General Chairman of the Technology & Maintenance Council. His extensive involvement with ATA also includes serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman of various councils and study groups, along with serving on the Board of Directors. He received his M.B.A from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA and his B.S. in Business Management from Millersville University in Millersville, PA. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1981 through 2003.
