Coronavirus Update – KAG’s Commitment to Our Customers

With this very fluid situation evolving every day around the Coronavirus (COVID-19),  Kenan Advantage Group is committed to supporting our employees our valued customers.  As a critical part of North America’s infrastructure, we take our role very seriously in times of national emergencies.  We have strong business resilience and crisis response plans in place that have successfully navigated us over the years through other pandemics, hurricanes, flooding, etc.  We realize this is unlike anything we have seen in the past; however, we are confident in our ability to keep our operations moving smoothly to serve our customers’ needs.

Our leadership team is meeting daily to monitor the situation while activating various plans to stay ahead of the outbreak and its consequences.  These plans focus on the safety and wellbeing of our employees, our customers, and the general public.  We have been proactive with our communications to our employees regarding the CDC’s recommendations on how to protect against the spread of the Coronavirus.  Today, we also have the technological capabilities to run basically every aspect of our business remotely in the event additional quarantine measures are mandated.

On behalf of our customers, we transport critical products such as fuels, food, industrial gasses (such as oxygen to hospitals)  and chemicals that are so vital during national emergencies.  Our Professional Drivers are the heart and soul of our organization and we would challenge anyone to find a more dedicated group of individuals.  They are proud of their contributions and understand how important their jobs are to keeping our country safe and economically viable.  To complement our 7,000+ driver force, we also have the necessary equipment and logistics skills to support our customers with any transportation needs.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been encouraged by the comradery shared by our employees, customers, vendors, local communities, etc., all working together to get through these unprecedented times, and we are ready to support you in any way we can.
