KAG CROSS-DIVISIONAL CAPABILITY DELIVERS FLEXIBLE SUPPORT FOR FOOD PRODUCTS CUSTOMER

KAG Flexible Solutions Networking

Background

A customer from KAG’s Food Products needed transloading support in the Phoenix, Arizona area. However, KAG Food Products does not operate a terminal in that region, creating a potential service gap for this customer’s supply chain needs.

Challenge

Without a local terminal presence, Food Products needed an alternative way to support the customer. Ensuring food-grade quality, regulatory compliance, and timely transloading required a creative, cross-functional solution.

Solution

KAG leveraged its internal network to find the right answer. KAG Energy, which operates a terminal in Phoenix, partnered with Food Products to support the customer’s needs. A food-grade trailer was supplied by Food Products, while the KAG Energy terminal managed the transloading process locally.

Results

This cross-division collaboration ensured the customer’s operations could continue without interruption. KAG Energy now assists with ongoing transloading for this Food Products customer in Phoenix, showcasing the company’s ability to deliver flexible, reliable solutions even in regions without dedicated infrastructure.
