Kenan Advantage Group Acquires Skyline Trucking

Canton, Ohio, August 11, 2005 – The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG), the nation’s largest bulk transportation and logistics provider to the petroleum industry, today announced the purchase of Skyline Trucking.

Skyline, based in Scottsboro, AL, operates over 20 power units spread across central and northern Alabama and southern Tennessee. Annual revenue currently exceeds $3,000,000. The company will be rolled into KAG’s Kenan Transport subsidiary.

“Skyline represents a strategic ‘tuck in’ that strengthens our service capabilities for our existing and target customers in the Alabama and Tennessee markets,” said Dennis Waller, Vice President of KAG highway operating subsidiary Kenan Transport. “Pat Flynn (Skyline’s former owner and president who will join Kenan as a regional operations manager) has assembled an impressive team of drivers and support staff that will certainly complement our operations in the area.”

The Kenan Advantage Group is the nation’s largest petroleum carrier with operations in 34 states. The company currently operates seven highway subsidiaries including Advantage Tank Lines, Beneto Bulk Transport, Kenan Transport, Klemm Tank Lines, McDaniel Transportation, North Canton Transfer, and Petro-Chemical Transport.
