Kenan Advantage Group Completes Transport Service Co. Acquisition

CANTON, OH, March 04, 2008 – Kenan Advantage Group (KAG), the nation’s largest bulk transportation and logistics provider to the petroleum and niche chemical industries, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Chicago, IL-based, Transport Service Co. (“TSC”).

Transport Service Co. is a motor carrier supplying bulk distribution services to the chemical and food products industries. TSC operates primarily in the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Gulf Coast regions of the United States along with Canada and Mexico.

“Moving forward, we now have three distinct operating platforms for future growth of our business,” said Dennis Nash, President and Chief Executive Officer of KAG. “These platforms include our core business of distributing bulk petroleum and renewable fuels; specialty products such as chemical and food-grade lines; and logistics services through our KAG Logistics Group.
